"Short Films From Latin America," curated by Julianne Burton of the University of California at Santa Cruz, includes works from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

May 1-29: CineAccion, San Francisco.

May 8-June 12: De Saisset Museum, Santa Clara, Calif.

May 11-18: University of Salamanca, Spain.

June 2-July 14: Visual Communications, Los Angeles.

Aug. 16-Sept. 20: Bass Museum, Miami.

Sept. 28-Nov. 9: Los Angeles Public Library.

Oct. 2-Nov. 6: Museum of Art and Archeology, Columbia, Mo.

Nov. 21-28: Festival de Cine de Alcala De Henares, Madrid.

Dec. 18-Feb. 14: Newport Harbor Art Museum, Newport Beach, Calif.

Additional showings are slated in California at the San Diego Museum of Art and the Fresno Art Museum; in St. Paul, Minn., at Film in the Cities; and at other venues to be announced.

The American Federation of Arts currently has 21 visual-arts exhibitions on active tour. The not-for-profit organization is based in New York City.
