Held by Islamic Jihad. * Alberto Molinari: (Sept. 11, 1985), Italian, businessman. Captors unknown. * Joseph Cicippio: (Sept. 12, 1986), American, deputy comptroller of American University. Held by Revolutionary Justice Organization. * Edward Austin Tracy: (Oct. 21, 1986), American, book salesman. Held by Revolutionary Justice Organization. * Terry Waite: (Jan. 20, 1987), British, envoy of the Archbishop of Canterbury, disappeared during mission to free Western hostages. Captors unknown. * Alann Steen: (Jan. 24, 1987), American, academic at Beirut University College. Held by Islamic Jihad for Liberation of Palestine. * Jesse Turner: (Jan. 24, 1987), American, academic at Beirut University College.
