No Limiting Factor

Someone once said the bonsai tree and the giant redwood are the same: grown in other forms and other places, but the same tree known by different names.

If so, no doubt like others of my kind, I wonder how it would have been to grow up, not in the culturing or rigid framework of bonsai,

but widely-branched, full-leafed and high, with no limiting factor but the sky.
