The No. 1 concern of executives by far, according to a survey by Robert Half International, is losing their jobs as a result of a merger or acquisition. The survey of vice presidents and personnel directors of 100 of the nation's largest corporations found they were less worried about being fired, failing to get a raise or promotion, falling ill, or having insufficient income.
