Look homeward angel
A tale is told by those we say are wise of far-flung creatures dwelling out beyond the moon, a tale of fancy, cool surmise that holds these eerie beings might respond were we to signal them through outer space. And, should we rake the starry voids to send across the abyss of time to some weird race, if there were answer might we comprehend? But here we have the rose, the daffodil, wind in the cedars, waves on a rocky shore, the thrush at evening and the whippoorwill, this valiant earth and all her wondrous lore. And seeing the light of life in your dear eyes I seek no finer truth in alien skies.
