Record group of immigrants naturalized in Miami stadium

More than 9,700 people became US citizens yesterday at the Orange Bowl in the nation's largest-ever naturalization ceremony. After US Magistrate Peter Palermo recited the oath, the throng responded ''I do'' in unison and erupted into flag waving and cheers as Vice-President George Bush stepped to the microphone and said, ''This land is now your land.''
