Moscow — Chess challenger recovers to wrest draw in 2nd game
Challenger Gary Kasparov recovered Thursday from what many experts thought was an unsalvageable position and achieved a draw with world titlist Anatoly Karpov in the second game of their world chess championship.
Monday's first game between the two Soviet grandmasters also ended in a draw. The match continues with three games a week until one player wins six games.
