Bill for religious meetings in public schools passes Hill

The House gave final congressional approval Wednesday to a measure that would allow students to hold prayer meetings in public high school buildings after hours. The so-called equal-access proposal, approved by a 337-to-77 vote, allows students to meet before or after school for religious discussions, but not during school hours.
