Homosexuals march to emphasize concerns

Thousands of participants and observers turned out Sunday for the 14th annual Lesbian/Gay Freedom Day Parade in San Francisco, police said. A similar parade also drew big crowds in New York City.

San Francisco organizers say another march is planned for July 15, on the eve of the Democratic National Convention being held there, in hopes of drawing attention to concerns of the homosexual community.
