Mondale savors Missouri as primary vote is tallied
Democratic presidential candidate Walter Mondale claimed Thursday a ''solid win'' in Missouri's caucuses. With partial results from St. Louis and Kansas City and 78 of 114 counties fully tabulated, state party officials estimated Mondale could win 50 national convention delegates, Hart 18, and the Rev. Jesse Jackson 7.
