Reagan to give sweeping foreign policy address

President Reagan will make a major speech next Friday on relations with the Soviet Union, arms control, and developments in Asia and Central America, the White House said Friday.

Spokesman Larry Speakes said he did not expect Reagan would make any new foreign policy announcements, but he called the speech an important overview of the administration's foreign policy goals.

Reagan plans to deliver his address to the National Leadership Forum of Georgetown University's Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington.
