Reagan is now paying for his weekly radio time

Now that he is a presidential candidate, Ronald Reagan is directing his reelection committee to buy time on radio networks for his weekly Saturday broadcasts, in order to avoid complications from equal-time rules.

The first paid broadcasts were carried this weekend by the Mutual Broadcasting System.
