Almost half of Sony Corporation's investment ownership is foreign, according to Asiaweek magazine (Hong Kong); and such companies as Canon, Hitachi, TDK, Fuji Film, and Sharp report varying degrees (from 20 to 30 percent) of foreign ownership.
