Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

Peter Jennings was named sole anchor of ''ABC World News Tonight.'' Starting Sept. 1, Mr. Jennings will anchor the news from New York City. ABC has removed Max Robinson from his anchor position in Chicago and will soon announce how he is to be used in the future.
