Iranian skyjackers surrender in Paris

Six Iranian hijackers freed 175 passengers and 18 crew members they had held hostage on board an Iranian jumbo jet to end a two-day hijacking from Tehran, Iran, to Paris, via Kuwait.

The hijackers surrendered to French police at Orly Airport after meeting with Massoud Rajavi, the exiled leader of the People's Mujahideen guerrilla group. Mr. Rajavi demanded the freedom of the hostages before he would negotiate with the hijackers.
