Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

New York's Brooklyn Bridge now spans a century. And up to 1 million people are expected today (May 24) to celebrate the mile-long structure, which was opened May 24, 1883, by President Chester Arthur. At the time it was the world's longest suspension bridge.
