Double-trailer trucks were allowed to travel on all the nation's interstates and on some other public roadways for the first time - thanks to a congressional act that took effect Wednesday. Some states already allowed the 70-foot-long vehicles, but Connecticut and other states are bucking the federal law and continue to ban the giant rigs.
