Reagan has interim plan for Euromissiles

President Reagan will offer Moscow an interim solution this week to limit medium-range nuclear missiles in Europe, NATO sources said. But the proposal will not contain specific numbers. In a confidential letter to NATO heads of government, Mr. Reagan said he preferred not to specify compromise numbers at this time to avoid a preemptive Soviet response during the forthcoming recess at the Geneva arms control talks.
