Bulgaria will not allow Bekir Celenk to leave the country while extradition requests are pending, Turkey said Monday. Mr. Celenk, wanted by Italy in connection with the attempted assassination of Pope John Paul II, has also been charged in Turkey with smuggling and illegal currency deals.
