President Reagan signed into law Jan. 14 a major revision of federal laws governing the treatment of seasonal and migrant farm workers. The law requires that workers be given adequate housing, safe transportation, and correct information about their pay. It also prohibits farm labor contractors who recruit and transport seasonal workers from hiring illegal immigrants.
