No trick-or-treating this Halloween?

It all started when town leaders in Dudley, Mass., voted to ban trick-or-treating - a move they say is not meant to be ornery, just prudent. One selectman said board members became concerned after hearing about a rash of copycat contaminations following the Tylenol poisonings and wanted to protect the town's children from tainted candy. Officials nationwide have warned parents to keep close tabs on their children's whereabouts this Halloween.

The ban seems to be catching on. So far, four other Massachusetts communities have banned trick-or-treating this year, and other towns, such as Logan, Ohio, have put restrictions on it.
