Portugal tense after riots in which 2 were killed

Political tension rose in Portugal after the government threatened to sue leaders of the country's largest labor union for inciting a May Day riot in the northern city of Oporto in which two workers were killed. Leaders of the Communist-led labor movement met to plan a general strike, the second in less than three months.
