Angola fears new attack; gets promise of Soviet aid

The Angolan Defense Ministry accused South Africa of speeding up military preparations for a new full-scale attack against Angola, according to the official Angolan news agency Angop.

Last Friday, Soviet Deputy Foreign Minister Leonid Ilychev publicly assured Angola that Moscow would give it all the military assistance it needed to defend itself.
