Grenade hits upper floor of US Embassy in Beirut

A rocket-propelled grenade hit the third floor of the United States Embassy in Beirut but caused no casualties, an embassy spokesman said. A previously unknown organization calling itself the ''Aqsa Group'' contacted two Beirut radio stations and said it was responsible for the attack. Al-Aqsa is the name of one of the two Mosques which stand on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, where a Jewish-American opened fire with an automatic rifle on crowds visiting the holy site.
