New Egyptian government puts stress on economics

Egyptian Prime Minister Fuad Mohieddin announced a new government, including a high-powered economic team, pledged to improve the economy and fight corruption.

Eleven new ministers were named after President Hosni Mubarak dismissed the government he inherited from the late President Sadat, after a corruption trial in which top officials were mentioned.
