Polish government accuses Spasowski

The Polish government started criminal proceedings Monday against the Polish ambassador to the United States who defected Sunday, Warsaw Radio reported. The radio, monitored by the British Broadcasting Corporation, said Ambassador Romuald Spasowski had ''committed serious crimes against fundamental state interests.''

Mr. Spasowski and his family were granted political asylum in the US.
