Grain borer spreads alarm in East Africa's larder

The whole of East Africa is growing increasingly concerned about the deadly grain borer beetle that is steadily eating its way through thousands of tons of corn in Tanzania, Monitor contributor John Worrall reports. More than a million people in central Tanzania are threatened with famine.
