Running Home at Night
South Hadley, Mass. — i said goodbye to my dearest friend, and then I ran along. I didn't feel like singing, 'cause I couldn't find a song. The winter snow was blowing and my hair was really flowing. I couldn't see where I was going because the darkness shadowed over me and then I reached out with glee, for in the darkness I could see The path leading to the house for me! I climbed the stairs and opened the door, $ %and I could never ask for more. I was Home!
