Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

Senate majority leader Howard Baker joins the list of politicians who are being protected by security men since the Reagan shooting. Soon after the shooting, a security detail was assigned to Sen. Edward Kennedy (D) of Massachusetts, whose brothers, John and Robert, were both assassinated.
Now an armed guard has appeared on the street in front of Baker's home.
Also, the license plates on Baker's Cadillac -- which read "Senate 1A Tenn." -- have been removed.m
