Indiana slayer dies in the electric chair
Michigan City, Ind. — Confessed killer Steven Judy, who died in the electric chair early Monday, was the fourth murderer executed in the United States since capital punishment was reinstituted in 1976. Judy, a 24-year-old laborer, refused to appeal his sentence.
He was put to death in the Indiana State Prison for th e slaying of young mother and her three children in 1979.
