South Africa returns passport to bishop

Black Anglican Bishop Desmond Tutu, secretary-general of the South African Council of Churches, received his passport back from the government, nearly a year after it was withdrawn, a council spokesman said. Bishop Tutu is a strong criti c of South Africa's policy of apartheid.
