Koalas

Koalas are animals that look a little like elephants because of their ears. They look a little like beanbags because of their stomachs. They look a lot like they have a black oval blotch for a nose. Mostly they look like live teddy bears , but they aren't bears at all. They're furry, but I've never felt one. Almost every koala lives in Australia, but three or four or maybe five live in the San Diego Zoo.

Koalas sleep all day. They nibble all night. Koalas nibble on eucalyptus leaves. Koalas live in trees but come down when they need to go to another tree.

If you ever go to the San Diego Zoo you can see the koalas. When I went, they were easy to find.

I like koalas because they look nice and scratch their ribs so you can watch.
