From his London office he was whisked off by Rolls-Royce, helicopter, then Concorde to his Park Avenue office at 10:19 a.m. -- 36 minutes before he had left London, because of the five-hour time change.

Midweek commuters, however, take note: Nov. 16 was a Sunday.m
