11 Latin American lands aim for a common market

Eleven Latin American countries founded a trade organization Tuesday aimed at turning the region into a common market. The Latin American Integration Association is designed to encourage and regulate trade between member countries and promote economic integration and cooperation, and provides for preferential treatment from richer members to poorer.
