3,000 addicts rounded up in Iran for care or prison

Revolutionary guards and Islamic militants have rounded up more than 3,000 drug addicts and detained them at Tehran's main race track, the Kayhan newspaper reported Tuesday. Official estimates say more than 2 million Iranians are addicts. Last week 34 drug traffickers faced firing squads.
