East Germany to restore Martin Luther memorials

In honor of Martin Luther, East Germany will restor all buildings connected with him in time for the 500th anniversary of his birth in 1983, the official ADN news agency said. The renovation work will focus on Luther's home in Eisleben, he Wartburg castle where he translated the Bible into German in 1522, and a series of churches.
