Iran tells hostages they'd be killed if US tried again

The American hostages have been told of the unsuccessful April 25 rescue mission and warned they would be killed if the United States tried it again, the Tehran newspaper Donya said Tuesday. Each hostage has also been told where he is now being held, the newspaper said.

Meanwhile, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini has authorized President Abolhassan Bani-Sadr to appoint a prime minister before Parliament meets for the first time next month, a spokesman said.
