Ex-General Services man resigns at White House

Robert T. Griffin, the former No. 2 man at the General Services Administration, who was fired and then given a $50,000-a-year White House job by President Carter, has quietly resigned from the government. Few details of Mr. Griffin's departure were forthcoming from the White House, where he was originally named by Mr. Carter as an assistant to Robert S. Strauss when Mr. Strauss was ambassador for trade relations.
