Soweto students set schools boycott

Students in Johannesburg's black satellite city of Soweto plan to boycott classes this week in protest to the presence of white teachers. About 1,500 students, meeting in a Soweto church hall, agreed Saturday to continue going to school but to refuse to enter classrooms until all "gun-toting soldiers disappear from our schools".
