Flower imports cause concern

Countries exporting increasing quantities of flowers to the US include Brazil , Mexico, Israel, Central American countries, the Netherlands, and Columbia. In hearings this year, US rose growers will be asking the International Trade Commission to consider US import duties on foreign roses and to determine whether quotas should be applicable.
