Butler is back in the Final Four again this year. And Virginia Commonwealth University has demonstrated more clearly than any statistical measure can reveal that they deserve all the respect major conference teams get.

Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) makes its NCAA Final Four debut after a thorough drubbing of top seed Kansas Sunday. The VCU Rams will be joined in Houston by Kentucky, Connecticut, and Butler.

Arizona dismissed Duke Thursday night, making the Blue Devils the second No. 1 seed sent home in this year's NCAA Tournament. In tonight's Sweet 16 action, four teams from the bottom half of the seeding try to continue their improbable runs and the two remaining No. 1 seeds try and hang on.

One of the most enjoyable things about the NCAA tournament – for basketball fanatics and casual observers alike – is the Cinderella story. On Thursday, Morehead State chalked up the first upset of the tournament by vanquishing No. 4 Louisville. There’s just something appealing about watching the triumph of the little guy - the team no one ever paid any attention to, never gave a chance. Or maybe it's watching the titan, the sure-thing, the team that everyone knows will win, well, not win. Here is our Top 10, plus one.

The NCAA basketball's biggest tournament, aka March Madness, is upon us. The top four seeds announced Sunday: Ohio State, Duke, Pittsburgh, and Kansas. But with 68 teams in the NCAA basketball event, it's anyone's guess who will make it to the Final Four.
