Lance Armstrong is being sued by the US government. According to the Justice Department, Armstrong defrauded the Postal Service by taking millions of dollars in sponsorship money while doping.
His interview with Oprah Winfrey hasn't aired yet, but already some people want to hear more — under oath — before Armstrong is allowed to compete in elite triathlons.
Officials say nearly $4.1b was recovered last year in the health-care fraud crackdown, an Obama priority, but it's unclear if that reflects the success of law enforcement or the magnitude of the problem.
Under a new law, whistle-blowers can earn up to 30 percent of the funds the government recovers in fraud. For Wall Street whistle-blowers, that can mean big payouts.
