  • TNT sale to UPS blocked by European regulators

    TNT Express was set to be absorbed by shipping giant UPS, but the sale was blocked by the European Union's antitrust chief. UPS first offered to buy TNT Express in March to increase its shipping footprint in Europe.

    TNT Express, the struggling Dutch package delivery company was set to be taken over by UPS in a $6.9 billion deal. But the shipping giant has abandoned the deal, sending shared of TNT Express plummeting. 

  • Audrey Hepburn stamps fetch $606,000 for charity

    A set of 10 Audrey Hepburn stamps from a canceled 2001 German postal service campaign sold for $606,000, Saturday. The funds will go towards Audrey Hepburn Children's Fund, and one-third to UNICEF Germany.
