Christmas snow storm kills 3, tornadoes knock out power in South (+video)
A snow storm caused flights across the country to be cancelled. Three died, and many were injured in dangerous highway conditions and as trees fell on homes. In the South, tornadoes left 100,000 without power on Christmas Day.

Autopsy: Arkansas police car shooting was suicide
A 21-year-old man was shot in a police car last month in Arkansas. An autopsy report indicates his death was a suicide. The autopsy also revealed drugs in his system.

7 killed in Ala. storms, bringing US toll to 16
Combined with earlier reported fatalities in Arkansas and Oklahoma, the confirmed death toll had risen to 16 by early Saturday — the nation's deadliest storm of the season.

Seventeen found dead, crews search for dozens missing after Ark. floods
Search parties of the Ark. floods found a seventeenth victim on Saturday. Flash floods hit the campground early Friday morning and based on 73 missing persons calls, search and rescue crews expect to find more victims.
