Gold medalist Janica Kostelic of Croatia is congratulated by members of the Croatian Olympic team after winning the womens' giant slalom competition. Kostelic became the first alpine skier ever to win four medals at one Winter Games when she won the gold with a total time of two minutes 30.01 seconds. Kostelic had already won two golds and one silver medal earlier.
