Light work
Every image tells a story, and sometimes the story is told with light, shape, and color. Andy Nelson captured colorful Aztec dancers at the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington. On assignment covering Western wildfires, Robert Harbison saw smoke-shrouded peaks - echoed here by John Nordell's image of violins awaiting repair. Mr. Nordell also saw a face in a bird-pecked blueberry and framed the beauty of Boston's magnolias in bloom.
