Two days before Boston's world-famous marathon Monday, coalition military personnel at Camp Adder near Ur, Iraq, ran the second annual "Iraq/Boston Marathon" race. Started by military men who missed marathon running, and sponsored by the Boston Athletic Association, this year some 600 troops ran both individually and on relay teams. The event began before dawn Saturday to beat Iraq's fierce daytime heat.
