
Members of Nashi, a youth group, protest near a European Union building in Moscow after fellow members were denied visas. Former Russian president Vladimir Putin's longtime aide and chosen successor, Dmitri Medvedev, won the March presidential election in part to his party's success organizing a large swath of youths into two distinct pro-Kremlin political forces - Nashi and the Young Guard. The three-part series, 'Putin Generation,' appeared in February, just prior to the March 2 vote.
