This is quite an election year.  Many commentators have noted that some voters are having trouble finding a presidential candidate that really reflects their views, their concerns.  Are you satisfied that there is a candidate out there you can vote for?

Dante Chinni will be in Nixa, MO.,  very soon, looking for two residents to lead this blog.

Do you have any questions for them?  Topics you hope they will address?  Start the ball rolling and let them know how you’d like to begin.

You have classified Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA as Evangelical Christian which may be true based on church goes but it certainly isn’t Republican territory. It is the most heavily Democratic county in the state, primarily because it is the state capital and therefore the home of most state employees who tend to be Democrats. This tends to be true of all small cities where a state capital is located.

For me its been a matter of picking between two candidates that I like. I think Obama’s speech on race on Monday finally tilted me to his side.

Not a negative reponse to this blog- erroneously clicked on the icon displayed. I would have been happy to have voted for Bill Richardson or John Edwards, less happy to vote for Sen Obama. I am prepared to be pleasantly surprised. I have not read his speech or listened to it in its entirety- he doesn’t have to explain anything to me. Sorry to see that circumstances have forced him down the path of having to explain away the mistakes that another person has made. I have a keen interest in maintaining my association with Democratic candidates, having become disillusioned with all things Republican 44 years ago. Obama is the only viable presidential candidate left who seems to puts forth an agenda that might help redirect our country toward resolution of current foreign and domestic problems that have been engineered and implemented by most Republicans and some Democrats. Hoping for a fresh breeze and a healthy tack.

Obama and Edwards in the White House? How will those two deal with terrorists? Talk them to death?

If McCain picks Jindal as running mate, he’s in.

"This small city in the Ozarks, just five minutes from Springfield, is not a picture of Norman Rockwell America. For one, it lacks the quintessential main street. And chats among neighbors are more likely to take place at the McDonald's on Highway 160 than at the local coffee shop..."
