The Christian Science Monitor - Centennial Celebration

News in general, and the Monitor in particular

By Nahum Wengrov

My best source of news is the Internet. Especially as it gives me instant access to news that matters to the whole world, not just to my particular nick-in-the-woods.

That said, I also like to get news and commentary from sources that reflect my own system of values and point of view, or such that share with those a common denominator, rather than reading stuff that reflects values or views I deem invalid and irrelevant.

That said, the CSM meets these goals, and is the only source of news I get regularly by RSS to my mailbox. If I could, I would have loved to also get the printed edition, but the Monitor’s subscription policy does not let me do so. Nevertheless, thank you for your good work!
